Joe Longfellow, III

Joe is a partner with the firm and has been working here since 2008. His practice is primarily insurance defense with a focus on automotive liability, civil rights defense, employment law, law enforcement and corrections liability, medical malpractice, and premises and products liability. He has handled and tried cases throughout all North Florida. He is prepared to represent your interests in both state and federal courts in Florida and Georgia.
Joe is admitted to practice in all Florida and Georgia state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), Defense Research Institute (DRI), Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA), and the Tallahassee Bar Association (TBA). He is currently AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He currently serves as a member of the Student Education and Admission to the Bar and is chair of the Construction Law Committee of the Florida Defense Lawyer's Association.
Joe received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida State University and his Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. In law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Society, Mock Trial team, and a law journal. He is fluent in Spanish.
